A steel-and-concrete residence of roughly 5,685 square feet set into the hillside off Buffehr Creek Road in Vail, completed in 2006 and finished to an exceptional level. Cathedral ceilings and expansive windows open the living spaces to forest and valley views, while a grand stair-hall entry in reclaimed stone anchors the plan. An elevator links the levels; a wine cellar, media room, family room, and bar round out the interior; and the outdoor spaces — a covered terrace with radiant heaters and a spa, and a deck with a built-in grill and fireplace — carry the home into the landscape.
